Pregnancy Scanning

Here at Kings Hill Medical Centre we are able to offer patients a full Consultant led Pregnancy Scanning Service.

The medical centre offers a comprehensive scanning service using state of the art ultrasound equipment capable of producing 2D, 3D and 4D images of babies. All scans are performed by Mr David Penman, who is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Specialist in Fetal Medicine.

Scans are performed using our latest technology GE Voluson ultrasound machine.  This enables us to provide patients with a new dimension in imaging quality for their baby – this being the most technologically advanced 3D and 4D scanning equipment available.

The primary purpose of any scan is to assess the wellbeing of the baby but every effort is made to obtain good pictures for patients to take away. At the end of each scan patients are provided with a formal report of the findings which will be explained in full and a copy of the report can be sent to any GP, obstetrician or midwife.

Patients are provided with a DVD containing video clips of the baby’s scan and a CD containing still pictures. These are included in the price of our scans.

Types Of Scans:

Viability & Dating Scan (6-10 weeks)

1st Trimester – Nuchal Scan (11-13+ weeks)

2nd Trimester – Fetal Anomaly Scan (22 weeks)

3rd Trimester – Fetal Growth Scan (24-42 weeks)

Prices from £90 to £150
