Health Screening

Kings Hill Medical Centre is able to offer a comprehensive range of Health Screening packages to patients.

These are undertaken by a Consultant Physician or a Consultant Cardiologist who are assisted by our team of expert professional staff in our relaxing surroundings.

We are able to offer three types of screening packages:

• General Health Screen
• Well Man Cardiac Health Screen
• Well Woman Cardiac Health Screen

The tests and investigations included for each of these screens is listed below. Some items may be substituted at the Consultants discretion making the package personal and unique to each patient.

General Health Screen

The following investigations will be undertaken by a qualified Nurse & Cardiac Physiologist:

Investigations

• BMI
• Height/weight
• Resting blood pressure
• Simple blood profile – renal & liver function (U&E, LFTs)
• Urinalysis
• Resting ECG
• PSA test for men over 50 yrs
• Thyroid function test for both men and women
• Simple lung function test
• Testicular examination for men
• Ovarian blood screen for women (CA125)

Well Man Cardiac Health Screen

The following investigations will be undertaken by a qualified
Practitioner/Cardiac Physiologist:

Investigations

• Resting blood pressure
• Height/weight/BMI
• Urinalysis
• ECG
• Simple blood profile – renal & liver function (U&E, LFTs/cholesterol)
• Exercise tolerance test (if deemed necessary)
• Echocardiogram
• X-ray (only offered if is considered appropriate)
• Pro-BNP (blood test) if ECG is abnormal

Consultation with a Consultant Cardiologist
Cost £390.00

Well Woman Cardiac Health Screen

The following investigations will be undertaken by a qualified
Practitioner/Cardiac Physiologist:

Investigations

• Resting blood pressure
• Height/weight/BMI
• Urinalysis
• ECG
• Simple blood profile – renal & liver function (U&E, LFTs/cholesterol)
• Spirometry test (lung function)
• Exercise tolerance test (if deemed necessary)
• Echocardiogram
• X-ray (only offered if is considered appropriate)
• Pro-BNP (blood test) if ECG is abnormal

Consultation with a Consultant Cardiologist
Cost £390.00

Packages are available to individual patients where a discount of 10% is available if two or more members from each family attend for a Health Screen.

For corporate screening, group discounts are available upon request.

The health screening reports are all done personally buy the Consultant Physician or Cardiologist and we aim to have the written report to patients within 3-5 working days.
