CTC Technical LogoCTC (Technical) Ltd is an independent Company that was founded six years ago by Harry Collins.

Its main purpose is the provision of Technical Cardiology Services both to the existing Consultant base here at Kings Hill Medical Centre and also locally.

We provide a range of technical cardiology services which include:

  • ECG (Electrocardiogram)
  • Exercise Testing
  • Echocardiography
  • Fitting of ambulatory monitoring systems
  • Pacemaker Checks
  • Defibrillator checks.

New services have recently been introduced to the medical centre for optimum patient benefit which are:

  • Transoesophageal echocardiography
  • Stress & contrast echocardiography
  • Cardiac Resynchronisation Optimisation
  • General Health Screens
  • Well Man/Woman Cardiac Health Screens

Throughout the year we run a number of Advanced Life Support and European Paediatric Life Support Courses.

Our future aim for services is to offer an open access echocardiography service to local GPs and Corporate Companies.

PROFILE – Harry Collins

Harry Collins is the founder member of CTC (Technical) Ltd.  Harry has worked in the field of Technical Cardiology for 20 years having run a number of Cardiology Units throughout the UK. His special area of interest is heart failure and heart failure devices, particularly biventricular and cardiac resynchronization therapy.  Harry is a member of the British Society of Echocardiography Accreditation Committee, American Society of Echocardiography, Heart Rhythm Society UK, Society of Cardiological Science & Technology and an Advanced Life Support Instructor.

PROFILE – Liz Starr

Liz Starr has been a Cardio-Respiratory Physiologist for 20 years, working for 16 years in the NHS before joining CTC (Technical) Ltd in 2004. Liz is a member of the British Society of Echocardiography, Society for Cardiological Science & Technology, and also holds an Advanced Life Support Certificate.
