The World Federation of Chiropractic defines this service as “A health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. There is an emphasis on manual treatments including spinal manipulation or adjustment." We are also using this service as an “in house” referral route to aid rehabilitation in the specialities of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics. Mr Jesper Dahl is our Chiropractor who attends the medical centre twice a week to help in the diagnosis and management of all musculoskeletal injuries. Treatment is optimized towards full rehabilitation of the patient. Qualifications in the management of sports injuries have given Jesper opportunities to work at international sports events. He has also significantly helped in the management of non sports people. He is also an international lecturer on patient management and enjoys the challenge of difficult material easy to understand both in a teaching situation but also on a daily basis with his patients. Jesper is also Chair of the South East Thames Regional Faculty for the College of Chiropractors. He is a partner at the Southcote Chiropractic Clinic in Maidstone. All our chiropractic treatments take place in one of our comfortable carpeted treatment rooms.
